About
Our Story

Organizational Background

Mlerawana Rural Development Organization was formally registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in 2023, after operating for several years as a community-based organization. During its time as a community initiative, Mlerawana built strong grassroots relationships and practical experience in supporting under-five children and vulnerable families.

The organization is currently supported by The Rose Project and Tilitonse Foundation, with funding from Comic Relief and UK International Development. With this support, Mlerawana envisions steady growth and is committed to strengthening its institutional capacity, expanding program reach, and improving service delivery in the coming years.
